Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara OOC was born on March 4, 1954. O'Hara has won a number of awards including the Genie Award, a Golden Globe Award and two Screen Actors Guild Awards. In addition, she was awarded two Primetime Emmy Awards and six Canadian Screen Awards. In 2018, she was named as an Officer of Canada. She was also awarded the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement Medal in 2020. O'Hara's first recognition as an actress when she was part of The Second City improv comedy troupe in Toronto in 1974. She was a part of the principal ensemble cast of the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978) along with John Candy and Dan Aykroyd. In the next year, O'Hara and Candy began working on the sketch comedy show Second City Television (1976-1984) in which she received the attention of critics for both her performance as a comedic actress as well as a writer, winning an award called the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for an Variety Series in 1981. O'Hara joined the Second City artistic advisory board in 2022. She was joined by Steve Carell, Dwayne Colbert and Tina Fey.
